I just wanted to give you a quick pre-season update from the BCFA Youth League. 

Behind the scenes the committee has been busy preparing the league for next season.  In between holidays, multiple emails, calls and texts our committed fixture secretaries have been working with Laurence Bough and myself to tweak the constitution to make it as competitive as possible for the start of the season.  We are now on the home straight and with constitutions sent out for all age groups are just waiting for clubs to resolve some affiliation queries with Essex FA so that we are in a position to migrate our 2023/24 Teams and Divisions into Full Time.

A few of us are away in the coming weeks so realistically we expect the migration to Full Time to be completed by mid-August.  At that point our Fixture Secretaries will be able to start creating fixtures for the new season.  The aim is to get these published on Full Time in the later half of August.

• In early September we will be Co-hosting a new event with Essex FA for Club CWO’s.  The Safeguarding team at Essex FA will be sending out invites to CWO’s directly once a venue and time has been confirmed – please let your CWO’s know we currently have Tuesday 12th September pencilled in for this event.
